I went to Ewa for piano lessons as an absolute beginner with no real knowledge of music theory. Ewa is what I would call a traditional music tutor that instills the importance of rhythm and timing from the outset. Ewa has steered me through how to read music using the John Thompson’s ‘easiest piano course’ books as the basis of progressing forwards with my piano theory and practice. No matter how hard a new piece of music may first appear, Ewa’s enthusiasm and  encouragement will inspire you to achieve your full potential at each lesson.  Her teaching credentials in music are outstanding, she not only plays and teaches piano, but also plays and teaches saxophone, flute, and clarinet. I cannot recommend Ewa’s music classes highly enough.

Ewa has taught me all I know about playing the flute. It started when I was 60, shortly after my retirement. For the first 2 lessons I couldn’t make a sound. And then I could play one note. After a few years, I passed grades 2 and 3 with merits. And, although not taking any more exams, (too stressful for me), have enjoyed my lessons with Ewa enormously. She was incredibly patient with me during my early lessons. Her teaching approach is always positive and encouraging, and she gives good advice on how I could improve. Ewa accompanies me on the piano or we play duets together. All very non threatening, which suits me. She advises me on what music to buy but is also willing to share. I have been taught by Ewa for 14 years now, and I can’t see it ever ending! I can thoroughly recommend her.

Ewa is such an excellent musician tutor; professional and personable. I couldn't do without her marvellous teaching. I hadn't picked up a saxophone until five months ago but due to her great knowledge and ability to teach I am delighted with the progress I am making. She is a good listener as well and unlike any other, will teach you the type of music you want to play. Her lessons are a highlight of my week! I recommend her to beginners and the experienced alike.
